We print these once. That’s the whole point of a pre-order. You tell us your sizes, we order exactly that many blanks and the run closes. No leftover box of 3XL sitting in my garage in November.
The blank is the Comfort Colors C1717 in Espresso. Garment dyed, 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, soft the day it shows up instead of after ten washes. It’s the shirt I actually wear at contests.
Every tee is custom made to order from what people pick on this page. That’s how we guarantee your sizes are in the run and how we keep the price where it is. Pre-orders close Friday, September 18 at 11:59 PM Central. Printing starts right after.

We don’t hold a box of shirts in a garage hoping the sizes work out. We count the pre-orders, order that many blanks and print them. That’s why the size you pick here is the size that gets made, and why the deadline is real.

On the extended sizes. 2XL and up cost us more at wholesale, so they cost more here. The bump is $3.00 at 2XL, $5.00 at 3XL and $7.00 at 4XL. That’s the actual difference, not a markup.

Questions worth answering
When do I pay?
Right now, at checkout. Payment runs through Stripe, so your card details never touch this site. You get a receipt straight away and your sizes are locked on the run the moment it clears. There is no second invoice coming.
When do I get it?
Not next week. Pre-orders close Friday, September 18 and printing starts right after. Pickup runs September 30 through October 4 at the ’26 American Royal, Lot D, Site 246. Order today and you’re waiting about three weeks. Shipped orders go out in a heavy-duty USPS mailer as they come off the press. With a little luck it lands before the Royal starts, but that leg is USPS and not us, so we won’t promise a date.
Can I change my size?
Until Friday, September 18 at 11:59 PM. Reply to your confirmation email and we’ll swap it. After that the blanks are already ordered and the size you picked is the size that gets printed.
Why do 2XL and up cost more?
Because they cost us more at wholesale. 2XL runs $3 over a standard size, 3XL runs $5 and 4XL runs $7. We pass on the actual difference and nothing on top of it.
How does it fit?
Unisex and relaxed through the body, which is how Comfort Colors cuts everything. Garment dyed cotton settles after the first wash. If you want it closer to the body, order one size down.
What if I miss the deadline?
Email crew@macheteboysbbq.com. We sometimes end up with a few spares off the run. Don’t count on it.
